One of the latest companies to join the Made in Group, Triumph Motorcycles, has become part of this community to connect with fellow industry leaders and support the advancement of technology and innovation within UK industry.
Triumph Motorcycles, proudly based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, produces iconic bikes that perfectly blend authentic design, character, charisma and performance. Building around 80,000 bikes per year, Triumph is the largest British motorcycle manufacturer and has over 750 dealers across the world.
Triumph is an international brand and company, with factories in the UK, Thailand, India & Brazil. The UK base of the firm is the home of design and development and works alongside many British businesses to bring the products into volume production.
The UK is also the centre for Crank production, using local suppliers for fixtures and tooling. With the new UK motorcycle assembly line now complete, UK volumes have been steadily climbing for Triumph, using local suppliers to support that expansion.
Made in Group, including Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire, is a membership community championing British manufacturing. The group's aim is to connect business leaders whilst offering them a platform to learn and share best practice - tackling industry’s current and ongoing challenges.
